The plan involves a 25% salary increase for all lower-ranking Police and Prisons officers, benefiting around 13,000 prison officers and 55,000 police officers.

Summary: President Yoweri Museveni has commissioned Uganda’s electric motorbikes manufactured by SPIRO Company at the National Leadership Institute (NALI) in Kyankwanzi. SPIRO is an electric vehicle company in Africa, recognised for its impact on sustainable transportation. President Museveni praised the new technology, stating; “This is good news. The electric bikes are better than our traditional ones which require diesel.”
